Today was the day. I made this decision about 2 years ago that it was time that I did this. I don't know what made this time different. Is it that I am wife and mother now, or maybe maturity. It's funny how much you change over the years and what becomes important to you.

I could not believe the time had come. I almost couldn't sleep last night. The excitement was overwhelming. I woke up this morning without an alarm. Jumped right out of bed and put on some clothes. Brushed my teeth and pulled my hair up. Kissed my husband good-by and was out the door. I could feel my heart pounding. I was excited and nervous. I even spoke to Lindsey on the way about my decision.

There it was. I got out of my car holding a hand writing note. I was clinching the note really tight. I was nervous that I could make a fool of myself because I had never done this before. They were so nice and helpful and I got started. I opened my note and read it very carefully. I read it over and over to make sure I was doing everything right.

It was done. I gathered my stuff and stated to walk out the door. So proud of myself and all the time I had invested in this over the past 2 years. I had used time as an excuse in the past. I made time for the movies, getting my hair done and hanging out friends. I had time to do this.

I am 27 years old and today for the first time............
